All the equipment and bombs are American. They may not be flying sorties and doing bomb runs but logistical support is huge between intel and ancillary stuff like refueling and interception etc

As of now and to the best of our knowledge the US is the only one with the capability to take out Fordo but getting the US involved brings on its own set of risks in terms of Iranian retaliation. They could fire on American troops and bases spread around the region. They could block the straights of Hormuz causing a spike in oil prices. Similarly they could fire on the oil facilities in neighboring countries resulting in a spike in oil prices. Finally, although far less likely,  it could result in China getting involved militarily (not worried about Russia they are having trouble handling Ukraine).

The cleanest way to handle this is for Israel to handle it themselves. Would be nice is the US lent or leased us a couple of B2 bombers…or even some old B52’s…and enough bunker busters to finish the job ourselves

While Israel has been doing very well thus far, it does not have what it takes to fully whipe out the Iranian nuclear program, as discussed time and again. No, it is not possible to just lend a B2 and hope that a combat pilot get it. Im no aviator, but I doubt it's such an easy transfer given the differences between vehicles.

Does the US getting involved make things even more of a mess? Yes. Do I think that Israel should put itself in even more of a debt to the US? No. So I think it's wise entering a conflict and hoping that your older brother can bail you out? Also no.

But at the end of the day Israel can not achieve it's stated goals without them.

I think the plan is to take out as much as Isreal can, working on removing high ranking officials, then have the government collapse. As Iran is figuring things out, the US bombs the hell out of that bunker and berries their nuke program under a mountain. It's not really the US entering the war as much as cleaning up some stuff for the world. No one is going to complain about making sure it doesn't fall into wrong hands. Everyone has enemies.

How long does it take a B2 to load weapons and hit Iran from Missouri? Can you see the Pegasus' on radar or no? I don't know how those work and if they are constantly in the air or if you'd be able to see them take off at the refueling points. I can't imagine the military would make it that fucking easy to see what was happening, if it was.
